Unihockey (English: floorball) is a relatively young team sport from the stickball family.
Floorball was jointly developed in Sweden, Finland and Switzerland in the 1970s. It is a game similar to indoor or ice hockey, which can also be played behind the goals.
Floorball is the most developed sport with tens of thousands of players in Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Floorball is seen as a trend sport that is becoming increasingly popular and is particularly well accepted in schools in physical education.
Due to the game dynamics with the rapidly changing game situations on the field, floorball is one of the fastest indoor sports, is easy to learn and requires only a few pieces of equipment, which can also be purchased very inexpensively. (Source: Wikipedia)
